We Don’t Want Donald Trump to Drive the Indy 500 Pace Car
On April 8 I started a Facebook group called We Don’t Want Donald Trump to Drive the Indy 500 Pace Car. Until earlier this week, the page had garnered very little attention. But then on Wednesday evening, it exploded. From 30 fans to 300 that evening and now, as I write this on Friday night, the page is up to over 1,300 fans!
Apparently, this caught the attention of the local news media. Here is the link to the story that aired tonight on the local ABC affiliate and here’s a link to the video (sorry, but so far I can’t embed the video).

grow up ... at least Trump had the stones to pursue what no one else would ...
get a life
Colin Powell drove the pace car in 2005. Another politician, with no connection to Indy.
You can't take Trump because he forced Obama to release a fake birth certificate. A child could take apart that pdf.
Just curious why the need to hide behind the veil of anonymity?
Trump "has the stones"? What to lie and repeat falsehoods that we debunked several years ago? Yep, that does take stones.
Colin Powell was one of those national hero sort of figures. He's never been divisive and he wasn't a politician. He was being rewarded for his service to the country.
^ Well said Mr. Wallack!
You sir are an idiot
How does an Oboma lover become a nascar fan?
good job MSWallack, hit the like button on fb. loads of people agree with you
To those who've had nice things to say, thank you.
To those who think I'm an idiot or whatever else, I guess you're entitled to your opinion (though I would ask, as always, why you have to hide your opinion behind the veil of anonymity).
But now that Donald Trump will no longer be driving the pace car, I guess that we can say, at least, that the 17,000 people who liked the Facebook page disagree with you.
Oh, and for the record: You misspelled Obama and the Indianapolis 500 is not a NASCAR race.
